The online mic test is a good tool for testing the microphone and finding out technical information about it. Of course, it allows you to find out whether microphone works correctly, but it makes a lot of tests, and because of this it is a bit slow.
For those who just need to know if the microphone is functional, I have developed a simple mic checker. It is fast, simple, and free. This checker allows you to check microphone online to see if is working properly. This test provides only a few details about your microphone (more exactly, the microphone name and playback duration).
If you like the Microphone Checker or have any ideas and questions, do not hesitate to leave comments. Please note that all comments are publicly available.
Your site is absolutely remarkable. The problem with most sites and companies, even Microsoft and Amazon and Facebook and Office Depot and, etc. etc. etc. The problem is NOT the cost. As Americans, we may complain but that is our nature. However, when we buy something, we will pay the extra "dollar" to get something that will last a while. They always have a great deal of difficulty understanding what I am saying. They do not understand me because I speak American Business Language. They don't the understand that concept at all. And then there is this major problem that has to do with websites. The programmers may be excellent and I have to say, these programmers who did this did very, very well.] The problem with electronic equipment is that the people who make it, design it, or "write" it, are creators of a product. HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT WRITERS and therefore are completely unsuccessful in conveying the information that they wanted us to know. This does not make your programmers wrong, or inept, or lazy. It is not their strength. My strength is not in creating like your programmers. My strength is that I have the ability to communicate information so that others may understand. Great job on your website. You guys hit the target not once,...BUT TWICE! BULLS EYE!— Izzy
