Review #1050 about “MacBook Pro Microphone”
Author: Bob Downs
Microphone: MacBook Pro Microphone

Advantages of the microphone:
Not much. It came with the MBP, so I haven't had to pay anything extra for it. Audio sensitivity seems pretty good. I can sit at a relaxed position, at an average distance from the MBP (about a foot or two away) and speak in a low voice and this microphone will still pick up my voice pretty well.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
My voice recording sounds robotic. Or canned. Or synthetic. I'm not an "audio guy", so I'm not sure how to describe it. Suffice it to say I don't sound natural.
