Mic Test

Review #10772 about “Blue Yeti”

Microphone: Blue Yeti
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
Overall good sound. Multiple modes for multiple situations. The suspension stand is nice, and the mute button is easily accessible. There is also a built-in aux port for headphones.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
Very sensitive. This can be solved by downloading Blue Sherpa, and also lowering your mic gain using the physical knob.

Author’s comment:
I believe this website thinks louder = better. I've been testing it a bit. Anyways, the Blue Yeti mic is a good mic. I love the stand I have. The mic does have good quality, but it is also very sensitive. This is easily solved, but something to be aware of. Also, I'm certain the quality is simply based on how loud it is. I got 14,000... That's kind of insane
