Advantages of the microphone:
VERY clear, little to no background noise compared to integrated webcam microphones, etc. Very good at picking up dynamic range from instruments.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Quiet and sometimes needs a virtual compressor / limiter / gate to increase volume without increasing background noise
