Review #11509 about “Razer Kraken X”
Author: Kimi
Microphone: Razer Kraken X
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
Attached to a comfortable headset
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Mic was very distorted sounding before plugging into a USB adapter (I used Antlion's branded one). Picks up a lot of a lot of breath/breathing/plosives
Author’s comment:
Not terrible for $50, but I wish I had spent more either on a better combined gaming headset or on a better standalone mic for recording speech. Primary use is for gaming and work phone calls.
