Advantages of the microphone:
Pressable button to turn on/off your mic, single ported but comes with adapter, and has a volume slider on the back. Also comes with adjustable headphone adjusters up to 8. Microphone can be moved any direction.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Sometimes it echoes speaker sounds, even if the headphones aren't in use.

The headset is good, it's a good headset that comes with surround sound (in their app, you do get a free month when buying the headphones but costs money), bass boost control, and has a flexible mic (for people who's mics are too close to them.)
