Advantages of the microphone:
Great sound capture, durable as I had this microphone for over a year without using and it's working just fine! it also was affordable, currently using on laptop not sure how it works with Smartphone
Disadvantages of the microphone:
I wasn't able to use it with smartphone, but maybe that's my experience. Also as I go back a little bit it cannot capture the sounds well, I need to stick to it.

overall not bad if you're only recording a voice over or maybe singing, but maybe not best if you need it to record far voices, I haven't used it much so I'm not a 100% certain
