Advantages of the microphone:
A strong microphone that has no issues isolating loud music or sounds coming out of the headphones themselves. The entire headset was like 11 euros where I am at, so its very affordable.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
With higher pitch voices, your voice may have a very flat, almost metallic tinge to it. As if you were recording while being surrounded by metal sheets. Accompanying this is a very faint but noticeable buzz if you have your volume above 50%. While good at completely isolating the sounds coming out of the headset itself (like music or someone talking), it will easily pick up noise created by typing on a standard or mechanical keyboard.
