Advantages of the microphone:
It's got a gain knob on the front that can be pushed in to swap modes, Great quality, Very nice built not made out of cheap plastic or anything in that category.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Not great at picking up your voice from far range's. That's all I've found in the disadvantages
