Review #17377 about “OpenComm by AfterShokz”
Author: Lyle
Microphone: OpenComm by AfterShokz
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
Comfortable, lightweight boom, always at the exact same position from my mouth.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Bluetooth isn't the most high-fidelity protocol. The mute mechanism BEEPS at me periodically to inform me that it's been muted, and it's piercing.
Author’s comment:
Less sensitive to echo from plaster walls but the voice sounds less "bright" and maybe even a little bit muffled by comparison with the laptop built-in mic.
