Advantages of the microphone:
This device has about 50% of them with bad microphones. I had to purchase over 300 and replace them. I guess the advantage is Acer has some of them with non malfunctioning mics.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
cost time and money to replace so many from Acer

Acer did not offer to send any replacements knowing this is an issue.
