Microphone: Default - Microphone Array (Intel® Smart Sound Technology for Digital Microphones)
Rating: Poor (2 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
When it works, it is FANTASTIC.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Stops working for no apparent reason at random times
Author’s comment:
The integrated microphone on my HP Envy 360 X (2021 edition) has twice simply stopped working and was not in the hardware list. The first time, multiple reboots, multiple times of going through various tests, it started working. This time, I was lucky, and it started working again after a single reboot. That said, I cannot recommend this microphone because it is unreliable!
