Review #21396 about “Logitech HD Webcam C270”

Microphone: Logitech HD Webcam C270
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
It provides clear audio with minimal background noise, almost always picks up my voice even if I am very quiet. I almost never receive echo with this microphone, even though I don't use headphones.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
My voice always seems a bit louder in the recording than it is in person, making it hard to record a whispering effect or an inaudible mumble effect. Not necessarily a downside but some might view it as such.

Author’s comment:
Perhaps it's just me not being used to the sound of my own voice without the vibrations of my jaw (which usually affects how you hear your own voice), but I always feel like my voice is deeper when recorded by this microphone than it is in person. Overall, a really good microphone to get on a budget, and it comes with a good webcam too!
