Advantages of the microphone:
Cheap price (around 2 Euros in Finland), and surprisingly good audio quality at least after soldering a better 3.5 mm audio plug to it, replacing the original one which did not make any good contact. Also having a ferrite near the plug is useful. The mic works also as a table mic if you have/make/buy a separate desk stand for it.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
The audio plugs seem to be at least to a certain level unreliable, so you may need to replace it, and add a ferrite to its cord near the plug.
