Advantages of the microphone:
Good sound capture from 3 meters away in a quiet room. I think its has auto gain. But low gain (lower volume) with speaking normally from 1.5 meters.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
short USB cable, although its built-in with able to wrap around the unit easy for transportation.
