Mic Test

Review #25638 about “Ear Force Recon (Turtle Beach)”

Microphone: Ear Force Recon (Turtle Beach)
Rating: Good (4 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
Funny mic, detachable microphone, good audio quality, bendable, durable unlike past turtle beaches I've owned, bendy part is metal so its durable, noise suppression, echo cancellation, low latency

Disadvantages of the microphone:
Slight static/Microwave sound in the background, faint but audible most likely from poor production quality/damage, bendable part is poor production quality (When bent in the same spot for a time it gets stuck and has a bend there you cannot get out), when not plugged in properly it sounds like a microwave when plugged in to the headset wrong/not good enough, hard to plug in right into headset

Author’s comment:
All around a decent microphone, its got a very slight bit of latency and a very slight humming noise in the background but good budget headset and mic 6.7/10
