Advantages of the microphone:
Sound quality seems very good, build quality does seem very good too. Hard to tell since I haven't had it for that long, but a very positive first impression.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Volume knob does not control output on the mic, rather, it controls the volume of the 3.5mm output on the bottom of the mic.
