Advantages of the microphone:
Integrated into a cheap webcam
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Apparently it has noise cancellation that's broken: if it thinks there's enough noise that it turns down the mic volume below about 95%, it's automatically muted, even though volume reports 95%

Steer clear of these stupid knockoff webcams that claim to be 1080p & 720p, when they're literally just generating lag while it UPSCALES a 480p or 540p image to 720p/1080p.
