Mic Test

Review #29711 about “Astro A10”

Microphone: Astro A10
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
Very cute lilac colour, comfortable enough to wear, in-line volume control, doesn't need to charge or go through any of the Bluetooth pairing stuff, pushing the mic up to pause could be useful. Generally cute, comfy, and good sound quality both ways especially all for the price.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
Was a bit unintuitive to set up. Initially it wasn't plugged in all the way (need to really push til it clicks). It was only showing up under a 'Realtek' name, so I wasn't confident it was working, but after all the testing and downloading Realtek drivers it does work on a Win11 laptop with only one combo jack, I was worried it wouldn't.

Author’s comment:
Astro A10 in Gen 2 cross-platform lilac from Amazon UK, £36.
