Advantages of the microphone:
Integrated into headset, seems reliable and decent quality.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Gaming headsets are kind of expensive and don't always come with the best audio equipment. Nothing really wrong with the microphone, but sometimes it's difficult to get the settings right in all applications, skype/discord/various games all handle drivers differently.

This headset is decent build quality, but the portion of the headband in contact with your head peels rapidly, leaving black flaky bits everywhere until the cover is gone. Corsair needs to increase the thickness slightly of this material, it tears too easily from normal use.
