Advantages of the microphone:
It is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cord with a boom mic attached that allows significantly better microphone sound than the default Bose cable. The clip holds itself in place nicely on the Bose QC45 frame. It allows you to convert your Bose QuietComfort Headphones into a gaming setup, just like the official QC35II gaming version.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Cheap Amazon product, wasn't sure exactly how effective it would be but I am quite impressed. Sound quality into the headphones leaves a bit to be desired but there is nothing so far that sounds particularly bad.

probably would purchase again, only complaint is bass quality coming through the line and into the headphones, which is better on bluetooth. Test song: THank god 4 me Artist: ScHoolboy Q
