Review #3070 about “Rode NT-USB Mini”
Author: Ritwik Dutta
Microphone: Rode NT-USB Mini
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
Plugs in via USB and includes headphone jack for realtime monitoring + audio passthrough for recording music or other audio content.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Not inexpensive - costs ~$100, and inbuilt pop filter is mediocre.
Author’s comment:
$100 seems like a lot of money to spend on a microphone, but it works very well, and is a great first choice if you are getting started with higher-quality recording equipment for streaming, podcasting, or music production.
