Advantages of the microphone:
Can get a pretty good sound at loud volumes without distortion, as well as picks up audio from further than the mic than dynamic microphones. Output is loud enough to not typically require a preamp unlike Shure SM57 and SM58 when recording quiet things like acoustic guitars. Very affordable
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Have to cut 500hz on everything a bit, not really a con but it should be considered when buying that it only has XLR output and not USB, though you can plug it into a USB interface
Author’s comment:
Sound is directional, do not face the wrong way
