Mic Test

Review #3175 about “Maxwell In-Ear/Rubberized w/Microphone (RiteAid)”

Microphone: Maxwell In-Ear/Rubberized w/Microphone (RiteAid)
Rating: Average (3 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
It apparantly works? Except I have NO IDEA IF IT TRULY WORKS BECAUSE THIS SITE LIES AND THERE IS NO PLAYBACK FOR ME TO HEAR WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE. Also, the earbuds are relatively comfortable.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
I have to plug it into a port (not wireless) so that's a hassle. Also, cannot separate mic from earbuds (cannot use laptop speakers and mic from combo unit or vice versa).

Author’s comment:
The instructions on this site say there will be a playback at the end of this test...but I completed the test twice and although the box makes it look like it worked, there was NO PLAYBACK AT ALL ANYWHERE AFTER EITHER TEST so I still have no idea how well it truly works. That completely defeats the purpose of being here and disallows for a real review.
