Review #3440 about “Rode Podcaster”
Author: GiorgioB
Microphone: Rode Podcaster
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
Excellent performances for my key activity of recording lectures and short podcasts.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
I cannot really see any. It is very sensitive as it can pick up background noises that I can only recognise later, during playback. You have to speak relatively close to the microphone (a few inches) to achieve the best quality. Depending upon other events taking place on your desk (keyboard, mouse, graphic tablet, screens) this might be tricky to achieve.
