Review #34878 about “JBL Quantum 100 Headset Mic”

Microphone: JBL Quantum 100 Headset Mic
Rating: Average (3 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
It's detachable from the headset with is nice if you don't want it, and it can attach real quick. It also has a mute button on the headset, which is nice to mute quickly outside of pressing the mute button on discord. It sounds decent. Not the greatest, but good enough for a discord call with your buddies when playing a game.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
It's kind of a pain to actually get working, and the software and support for JBL is terrible, I can't get the software to work at all right now. It took forever for me to get the mic to work, the headset audio was fine, but the mic would not work, it was using the integrated mic on my laptop, which is not very good. Then the mute button didn't work and it was a whole ordeal. Eventually I did get it to work and it was alright.

Author’s comment:
All in all, I wouldn't go with this headset if you had another option. The logitech G335 would probably do you better, for a similar price. But if it's a gift, or you got it without seeing this, you can make do. Don't expect it to last forever though.
