Advantages of the microphone:
light and portable earpiece, with a mini boom mic. good balance between portable and compact and good voice pickup. surprisingly clear pickup of my voice in most conditions. Not quite as good as a proper trucker boom mic of course, but it's small and portable and folds into a small carrying case. much better voice pickup than most in ear Bluetooth earpieces. decent sound quality of the speaker and a good variety of rubber earpieces.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Not quite as good voice pickup as a trucker headset. not as small as little in-ear pieces.
