Advantages of the microphone:
well, it works, what else is more important? for the 10 bucks i bought it for i'd say i got a good deal. and its using very standard stuff so i was able to use it on my linux machine without any extra tinkering.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
made in china. this might be a problem with tariffs. and the domed bottom it has makes it slightly hard to rest flat on a surface and keep it flat.
