Advantages of the microphone:
Excellent voice work, broadcast, music mic. Very rugged and adaptable to many mic configurations. With the software; it's sound can be fine tuned and is great at reducing background noise.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Heavy. Typically hangs under a shock mount on a pro rig boom stand.
