Review #38373 about “Lewitt 240 Pro”

Microphone: Lewitt 240 Pro
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:

Advantages of the microphone:
Very nice sound and build quality for the price. Excellent for beginners looking to get into an XLR setup with no intentions of upgrading soon. Available in white or black colorway. Construction is all metal (zinc die cast) which feels solid in the hand and has a premium finish. After a year of regular use it's held up perfectly and still works as well as it did brand new.

Disadvantages of the microphone:
Sound is a bit bright for my liking, but this may not be a negative for everyone.

Author’s comment:
Plugged into Arturia Minifuse 1 on Windows 11 system. There is a "vocal set" for an extra $50 which includes a shock mount and magnetic screen, however the standard pop filter and mount have been perfectly adequate. Audio interface with 48V phantom power is needed, as per standard.
