Advantages of the microphone:
Excellent automatic gain, it also blocks out background noise, even when talking in front of an AC you can hardly hear the AC but my voice comes through very clear.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Cord is really long, like super long. Also I think the connection from USB to the actual headset is quick disconnect but a proprietary connection. No Mute.
