Review #39238 about “AKG C214”
Author: Anfiny DeRothe
Microphone: AKG C214
Rating: Excellent (5 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
Bought it when I was 25. I'm 40 now, it always let's me sound like myself. I can control everything about it in software and on the pre-amp. The UR22 has just about everything the AKG 214 needs. It always sounds great.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Takes a spider mount, a clumsy mic stand, and a big pre-amp with phantom power. Oh and if you drop it once, it's dead forever.
