Advantages of the microphone:
I haven't had it that long but I like the fact that it's a headset and that the mic is flexible and I can turn it away. I also like that it's not an obnoxious cord situation.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
It appears to be too easy to accidentally unplug the mic
