Advantages of the microphone:
very clear, affordable, something i already have. an earphone with mic. earphone connected to chromebox, chromebox connected to lg hdtv which is connected to lg soundbar. sound is very clear and something that does not make a hole on my pocket.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
no remote controller for an earphone but able to manage using a mouse which can control every move i make on the screen.
