Advantages of the microphone:
It hears me.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
It sounds kinda like I'm in a submarine, a bit o' noise too. However, I'm in the basement where my audio/video/PC gaming stuff is, 2-3ft. from the mic, and the A/C system fan's going ~30-40ft. away. My headphones block it, but I hear it in the recording.

I have a much nicer pro mic I use for doing character voices for games, and for that I MUST turn the A/C off. I didn't expect this one to be better, but it gets the job done. Buy it/this webcam again?
