Advantages of the microphone:
Light. Has a magnet with extra pieces to attach to your headphones. Can be switched among many sets of headphones, just attach one of the magnet anchors.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Not the best sound, but for a $50 mic is perfectly fine.

I like that I can put it on any headphones I have.
