Advantages of the microphone:
It has incredible quality, and it can pick up my voice all the way on the other side of my apartment.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
It does its job so well that it could become a privacy concern if you aren't careful. Also, the blue LED that illuminates the on/off button is way too bright.

It does its job so well that it is scary. And it costs $15.
