Advantages of the microphone:
Broad frequency collection. My voice sounds full and isolated. I like that it is on a boom. It certainly seems like a good quality for the price (@about $50 on amazon)

Disadvantages of the microphone:
None found

I periodically forget to turn on its power supply - my fault, so I guess I have no complaints
