Microphone: guitar hero (logitech) redoctane usb microphone
Rating: Average (3 out of 5)
Date:
Advantages of the microphone:
it's usb and has a long cable and seems to still work after all these years. compact, not too heavy, sleek.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
it's old, sounds like throwing a box of tuna cans down an elevator shaft, and there's no off switch or bypass of any kind, short of unplugging the beast. kinda slippery, and the thing's only usb.
Author’s comment:
works, if you need something to record with in a pinch. i think it was meant for games only, but it works okay with vocal range. kinda neat that it's a logi beneath the skin, though.
