Advantages of the microphone:
Small, plug and play, great for budget users.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Not dynamic, only capable of cardioid pick-up, not omni directional.

If you're looking for a budget mic for working from home or gaming, this will work just fine. It isn't omni directional, though, so trying to pick up multiple voices from different directions would be challenging.
