Advantages of the microphone:
Dynamic mic - good for noisy environments, like an apartment building. Cardioid - good at suppressing noises from the back of the mic, like your PC USB - easy to install on any PC, and doesn't pick up interference like the 3.5mm jack
Disadvantages of the microphone:
Picks up handling noises so a boom arm is necessary You need to be really close to the microphone to have a good sound (3-10cm)

Huge improvement over builtin mic from my old laptop, or any mic that connects to the 3.5mm jack. No gaming headset comes even close. No noise suppression filters are required, the microphone does everything physically.
