Advantages of the microphone:
It automatically adjusts the level of the audio that is recorded and attempts to block out white noise. In a quiet setting, it is perfect.
Disadvantages of the microphone:
The microphone picks up my voice very loudly, and does not consistently tell the difference between my voice and white noise. If I speak after a few seconds of silence, then it takes a second or two for the headset to realize that I am speaking and adjust the audio output accordingly.

I am very impressed by the audio indicators; they move much more smoothly than I would have expected. I don't understand what the microphone quality rating is in reference to.
